HOW IT WORKS:

  • Start by completing our short New Client Form that helps us get to know your dog’s personality, needs, and what you’re looking for ahead of your Meet & Greet. 🤗

  • At the end of the form, you’ll be able to schedule a Meet & Greet directly through the provided link.

    This is a brief, in-person visit that allows us to meet you and your dog, review important details together, and get familiar with your home and your pup’s routine. It helps ensure we’re a great fit for one another before services begin.

    Your dog will be thoughtfully matched with the best-fit walker based on personality, needs, and schedule. Our founder may be involved in the initial sessions to ensure a seamless and supportive transition.

    You’ll also have the option to meet your dog’s assigned walker in person, virtually, or not at all — whichever feels most comfortable for you. 🥰

  • Once your Meet & Greet is confirmed, you’ll receive an invitation to Pet Pocketbook, our booking and communication platform.

    Through the app, you’ll be able to:

    • Request walks and services

    • View your schedule and visit notes

    • Store vet information and care instructions

    • Receive photos and updates from your walker

    • Message your assigned walker

    • Manage payments in one place

WHO WE ARE:

Trot & Train is a personalized dog care service built around movement, structure, and overall well-being.

My dog, Astra (left) and my sister’s dog, Luna (right), are the inspiration behind Trot & Train. Our Dutch Shepherds taught us that providing mental stimulation and physical exercise keeps your dog healthy and happy. The curiosity to learn the canine behavior was how Trot & Train was born.

Our mission will always be to assist busy pet parents with delivering the consistent care their dog needs. We dedicate ourselves to provide a helping hand that is reliable, friendly and your dogs best friend.

OUR PROCESS:

Every Trot & Train session follows a simple, intentional structure designed to help your dog move, think, play, and reset. Each session is tailored to your dog’s individual energy, personality, and needs.

  • We get your dog engaged and ready to move with sniffing, simple commands, play, and connection.

  • Your dog gets purposeful physical and mental exercise through activities tailored to their energy, personality, and abilities.

  • We help your dog transition back to a calm state with decompression, stretching, and relaxation.

  2. Healthier Dogs: Design monthly programs that support physical activity, mental stimulation, and overall wellness

    My dog Lyra has been walked by Mehek since 2023. I have had a great working relationship with both Mehek and Denise. They are accommodating to my frequent schedule changes, I can rely on them to step in when I am being pulled in many directions and it has been such a huge help. Lyra adores them both! From the beginning Mehek has gone above and beyond, she really loves Lyra and treats her as her own. She is passionate about her work and her business.
